Have you tried oregano oil for candida? In my experience it works.

Waiting for YOUR smile to shine when the sun breaks for you.

    hi Kris,

Hang in there--you still do a good job! But get those sneaks out and on more often! You would tell all of us crazy sexy cancer posse crew the same thing!

    Best.

I wish you a healthy stay and tell the toxins hit the road. Freekin fungus, I have heard of tea tree oil and Vicks Vapo rub helps. Alot of people get fungus on skin at tanning booths too.
Take good care of yourself. Infared sauna, how nice that sounds about now.

Kris, all you need to do is stick with 100% raw vegan. No depriving yourself, no giving up fruit, other raw sweeteners, chocolate or grains. Just all raw. I've dealt with candida my whole life. a good probiotic formula helps too. Email me if you wanna chat about it: dh@dimondhealth.com. I'm actually near you in Ft. Lauderdale. Have fun at Hippocrates and drink the wheatgrass! Would love to have that stuff at my disposal.

    Hi Kris,
I have been reading your blog / website for a couple of weeks now, and it is so inspiring! Better said: you are so inspiring! The way you tackle your health problems and come from a 'possibilities'-state of mind is fantastic! I would absolutely love to watch your movie, but I'm in Europe (the Netherlands) and I've read the dvd is region1 only :-(. Is there any way to make it available to us EU-people? (Through streaming/download for example?).

My own struggle is with burnout/ chronic fatigue. The recovery is slooooooow, and especialy the fear of not recovering (fully) or getting bogged down by 100000 limitations are my main obstacles.

As for the candida- I have it too, and have started ThreeLac a month ago. They are probiotics, and are working.

Thanks so much for all your positive vibes, and good luck detoxing!!
    Bye! Amber

  • ometh · 1 year ago
    Hi Amber,
I've bought the dvd and I am from the Netherlands as well. (living in CH though). And no problem watching it. You need a zone free dvd player though. Anyway, really moving, inspiring, great dvd!

I've been reseaching carbs and candida and recently took to the low-fat (high raw) diet. Isn't is better to just stay low-fat than low-carb?
My brain fog and such is almost gone after 2 weeks on the low-fat diet.

Hope this helps and thanks for what you do!

Kris, I wish you all the best at Hippocrates and sorry you're having a rough time! But, get those sneaks out and ready....'cus when you get to Arizona you're going to need them for this LUSCIOUS winter weather we're having...tremendously beautiful clear skies, sunshine and incredible temps... are you going to Dr. Lodi's Oasis of Healing? I just read up on it yesterday and it looks awesome. All my best, Laura and the canine crew :-)

I love you so for admitting you haven't been working out. I've been cutting back on the workouts and I need to do better. I will climb that mountain with you. Are you going to Tree of Life? So curious. Love me some Arizona.

Hey Kris, the number one cause of candida is mercury. Eat lots of GARLIC! Garlic detoxes mercury and kills candida too. Hope this helps . . . . Dana
  • Dana Herbert · 1 year ago
Cellfood should also help with candida, but there is a newer product called Miracle Mineral Supplement that you may want to check out as well.
  • REO · 1 year ago
    Kris,

Dana really knows what she's talking about. This website could also be worth reading up on. http://www.allimax.us/index.htm They have a high quality garlic (allicin) product.

As well as this article on the wonders of garlic.

We need you at 100% Kiddo... ;)

Go Kris, GO! You are the best! I love your candor...hmmm my excuse for not growing wheatgrass lately has been the mice visits in our house...The mice are gone now...so where is the wheatgrass???hmmmm????
thanks for the virtual kick in the pants...I tell myself the same types of stories that you do...It;s that denial thing again...(actually, for me it is stubborn and rebellious..AND denial) sigh...
Can't wait to hear more about your next phase...ok, I'm going to put some wheat berries in to sprout RIGHT NOW!
  • tinaintheraw · 1 year ago
    Hi Kris,

If it makes you feel any better, I really do like the photo of your mug with green juice in it! Pretty cute. Dang, when you say fungus on your back...what is that? I always get those funky dry patches on my upper arms...and I seem to recall a doc from many years ago telling me that was a fungus - is that true? Shit. Well, I think I will need to post something on CSL about it.

I was once a coffee lover so I totally know the feeling about marrying it. I gave it up when I was pregnant and then again after the big "c"...my love affair abruptly ended. Sad, but true.

Anyway, chin up love - you are fabulous in every way! You will kick that yeast to the curb.

    Cheers sweetie, Tina

So if you have candida do you have to go off of grains and sugar? Is that the only way to get rid of it? And why do you have to go off of sugar and grains? Can you just take medication for it? Thanks for your help anyone!
  • devishanty · 1 year ago
hi kris.. greetings! I'm from Indonesia and I watched you on Oprah! I've been here several times but this is the first time I leave comment...
you're so inspiring and I adore you sooo much!
    cheers!

Hiya Lovely Kris! :) i cant believe u got the yeast..man if u got it, with your diet- im probably swarmed then! i eat so badly compared to u! im always cheating, its terrible..im gonna start a detox with u :)..ugh and i could marry caffine too! i'd marry coffee and then cheat on it with mountain dew.

.hey with what is going on -do you feel a "Candida" blog post coming on? hint hint...i think its such a common problem and desperately needs to addressed...i know i for one would love to know your exact detailed plan for kicking candida's butt! :)
  • WendiDee · 1 year ago
I'm sending lots of love your way, Kris.

I giggled when reading about all that you aren't doing, but is part of the program. It made me chuckle because they are the same things that I'd be avoiding, as well--including putting on the sneakers. :-P We know intuitively what we need to do, yet for some reason we don't always do those things.

Good luck with the caffeine withdrawal. I am happy to say that I finally gave in and battled that beast a long time ago. It wasn't easy or pretty, but I'm free of it and you will be too--once you make the decision you truly don't want it anymore.

That really sucks about the Candida. I look forward to hearing how you eliminate it!

    Lots of love to you,

    Wendi
    XOXOXO

Thanks everyone! As it turns out I had another test and there weren't any. I have no idea how that happened but - hey - ROCK ON. I feel great today, really awesome. Good bye tea, hello WG (and enemas). Yup. I'll still do a candida cleanse though. I hear The Body Ecology diet is great (though I'm not sure I'll agree with it all). Check it out and thanks for your advise. xoxo K

Anyways , i had a hard time quitting the black evil thing too, you know what finally helpt? tam tam tam tam.. cacau! cacau smoothies. They don't love it there at the Hippocrates but i figured it was a good trade for a while, now i only take it ocasionaly.
Having some fungus spot too, trying to fight it with colonics, but am going to check for candida too...so thank you for talking about it.

And trying to take it one day at a time. I am not able to go back to work until after christmas so I have the time to concentrate. Hugs.. and enjoy....just a few days of yuk and life will be bright as the sun and clean as a whistle. Love you. Callie

Good luck kicking the caffeine and chocolate!

Kris, I am going through the same thing with green tea and dark chocolate. my two vices! I've managed to quite smoking and drinking, I juice 10 times a day, my diet consists of organic produce, I do three coffee enemas daily but for some reason jasmine green tea and high end dark chocolate just have so much damn power over me. I feel for you but I know you can do it. You have come so far and inspired so many people.
