I will also start to "feast" on Wednesdays for sure. I just am feeling cautious about doing it correctly since my liver is in such a precarious state. Will you give is some "feasting" options for those days? Sorry to be such a newbie.
Thanks for pioneering (again!) another interesting/beneficial territory.
Love ya, Jen B.
Kris
thanks and peace!
By the way, I am headed to Sandhi's yoga class today! I've been taking her class ever since the meetup. Love her! Thanks for the intro :)
Well I raise a big mason jar of juicy love to your Weds fasts!
You know who is the master faster: Phillip McCluskey of lovingraw.com.
He is the one I would ask questions of if I were in your cute vegan shoes.
myself: only 3 days.. not long ones for me.
Cheers!

Happy feast day!
Here's how we do it:
Schedule, schedule, schedule!
9 am
11am
1pm
3pm
6pm blended soup
We're not super-chefs or culinary mavericks - we just juice what we got!
I'm about to make cuke, romaine, celery and pear. If you're staying away from sugar (cancer or candida perhaps) you may want to ditch the pear.
Our lunch time juice (16 oz each sitting) was kale, lemon, cuke, celery, dandelion greens... Yum-ish.
Dinner = avocado, tomato, romaine, olive oil (just a drizzle), braggs (or sea salt), celery and scallions. Maybe a little cayenne to zip it up! Throw it in your blender and whir!
I cheated a little and started with a smoothy. YUM! Technically a juice fast would be best but I had meetings all morning so I knew I would miss our 11 am feast.
My new exciting super-secret: Take your E-3 Live and pour it in an ice tray. Add a cube to your smoothies!!!!
<pouring into my dolphin shaped ice cube tray as we speak> :)
this is good that you are all together and on a schedule, that makes it more fun and easier I think,
Stay green baby!

I have had my go at feasting and fasting...it serves it's purpose well. THere are a few great blogs I go to for inspiration www.aleeshasrawlife.blogspot.com and www.rawmom.blogspot.com. They are both big time LIFESTYLE feasters. it's remarkable to witness.
I also know that Miss Angela Stokes has a great recipe for "Energy Soup". I have had it several times and it's amazing. She has youtube video of her making her (youtube: angela stokes energy soup) and it pops up.
I was just thinking of doing this one day a week..preferably on Sundays. I lift weights pretty heavy and hardcore, so I can't be fasting and FAINTING with 2 dumdbells in my hands! Can you see me under the weights on the floor wrinkled up like an organic hunza raisin screaming, "but I'm feasting....i'm feasting!"
Please do blog juicy goddess... i'm sure it will benefit the MASSES.
crazy sexy hugs,

Why am I leaving this as a comment??? I don't know... maybe b/c I imagined you over at your office saying "Please let Jayna' feast with the goddess group on Wednesdays" over a candlelit altar and I wanted to tell you that you could stop now ;-)
I adore you,
Jayna'
Tis true, skinny people can be jelly like creatures.
HA!
xo
Email me for inspiration WHENEVER. I'm all about weight training for a lean toned physique.. I got your back skinny :-)
Go GODDESS GROUP!!!
Cheers,
Kristen
I am also new to juicing... but am looking forward to sharing in it with all of you goddesses. My mission in life is to heal myself and others. How perfect! Tomorrow is Wednesday! Yeah!
Lola is adorable. I got a pound pup too a few months ago and I even have those same monkey slippers! kindred cancer cowgirls we are... Thanks for being such a positive force!
Sending you love and light from Santa Cruz,
Jen
ps good thoughts for Steve Jobs!!!!!!!

Nice work love!!

I would love to read about the process. I would probably laugh at you when you're bitching about it but...
NO, I'm kidding, haha. Really, it would be an honor to read about what you have to go through and I promise not to laugh.

All the best!
I would love it if you blogged about your weekly fast!
I only tried it once but I was on chemo at the time and felt too weak to keep it up.
Now that I am off chemo and well I could use the inpiration/motivation to try it again.
Thanks for everything,
Laetitia
I did the breuss cancer cure fast and I lasted only 11 days it's just teas and sips of veggie juice. The fast actually goes for 42 days and a man I know did it to cure his lung cancer and it worked he's still alive 2 years on and no mass on lung gone. I got so skinny though I lost 8 kgs but felt clean and alive so please blog about it because I would love to do it again and I need a bit of inspiration
hugs,
Chris in Wyoming
I am following the program at www.juicefeasting.com and highly recommend it for any at home juice feasters. They have the whole program there for free, or you can pay for an expanded view. I found the expanded view an amazing addition. The daily videos are extremely supportive and educational. There is also a community support group. People feast from anywhere from 1 day to 100. It's all good!
love love love and here's to Wednesdays
Would love to hear more about your fasting and the facility you will be fasting at. Especially would like to have soup recipe. I'll be 38 in a few months and was diagnosed with epitheloid hemangioendothelioma in the lungs in 2005.
Love & Blessings
